I am an ocean inspired photographer. My primary goal is to showcase the beauty of the worlds oceans through my photography and fine art prints in hopes of helping preserve all that exists above and below the surface.

I grew up in the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of South Africa, and spent most of my life in and around the sea. My passion for the ocean quickly merged with my interest in photography. I first started shooting the surf from the shoreline but felt I was missing out on all the action in the water. So I bought myself a water housing and dived into the world of surf and underwater photography. My African Waters Collection is a showcase of my backyard, the waters that shaped me into the man and photographer I am today.  
In 2022, I embarked on a 6 month photographic road trip along the coast of South Africa in my home converted van. I had a few sponsors that supported the trip but the trip was mostly a personal one. It was for me to travel, explore, and photograph the diverse waters of my home country. It was an amazing experience that sparked and fueled my travel addictions, especially to more remote, untouched parts of the world.
After years of swimming and shooting in the cold waters of the Southern Atlantic, I decided to head for warmer waters, to the tropics. I found myself working and living on a charter yacht in the Maldives for two years. Surfing, free diving and fishing my way around the archipelago. From my time living on the turquoise, crystal clear waters that flow between the island chains and atolls, came my Maldives Archipelago Collection. 
From the Maldives I headed to one of the worlds best surf destinations, Indonesia. To Sumba Island. I now work as a Surf Guide for Tropicsurf and am based at the world famous NIHI, Sumba resort. The island, and the countless others in Indonesia, are littered with waves and are an absolute paradise for a surf photographer. My growing Sumba Island Collection is my current project with new prints coming soon!
